Good luck moving the Turris contract. But I never underestimate Poile. He's good at fleecing his rival GMs. |

Where are the Sharks getting this cap space? - gergeswillems
Some combination of these three UFA's.
Joe T. -$5M
Joe P. -$6M
Gustav N. -$3.3M
$11M per for 8 years seems out of character for the Sharks. From what I remember they would always get guys to sign shorter cap friendly contracts in the past. I was thinking that EK would sign closer to $9M based on his injury history. |

Duchene, Panarin, Eberle, Karlsson, Gardiner. Am I missing anyone? He's literally just listed all of the good FA's going to Montreal - mgriffen
Can't wait until he mentions Crosby and Ovechkin. |

I see. Like the Leafs having lots of Cap space because Marner isn't signed. It's not guaranteed he'll sign so Dubas can go on a spending spree. - gergeswillems
Thats a bit different. Marner is a RFA. While him signing isnt guaranteed, he doesnt have a choice. He cant sign anywhere else unless its via an offersheet which the leafs will match. He will be signed or traded and it is more likely he will be signed. Much like Nylander, he has to sign or he wont play
