We just traded Trouba for our own sh*tty pick back, and a 7D. We literally got less for Trouba than we gave up for our last 2 rentals.

I kept thinking that no team would trade anything equal to Trouba. I was hoping to be proved wrong and I was. I thought that we would have at least gotten what Calgary got for Dougie Hamilton.

Let’s not forget about his trade to get Simon Bourque last year. Gave up Armia just to get rid of Mason’s contract. Which, in the end made no sense as we had cap space to keep.

So essentially we have traded away almost all of the main pieces we got in the Evander Kane trade. Armia, Lemieux, Stafford. Only pieces left are Roslovic and Myers.
