It's honestly not so bad. If you haven't been in there it's, at least, "new" and it's got a little concession stand counter. That's where the homeless go but once you go through the turnstiles it's fine and is actually really convenient. The real danger is in the LIRR butt(frank)ing you and making you miss your flight
