I’m told the #Canucks are, indeed, shopping Tanev. His injury history may scare some teams, and his limited no-trade clause (8 teams he can block) further shallows the pool, but he is in play.

If past trades are any indication, Jim will be making "hockey trades" Wouldn't expect just picks as a return. Probably a player instead. Or young player and a 3rd etc.

Florida has 0 goalie prospects and their starters are crap. What do you think if we could package Demko + middling prospect (Lockwood?) and later pick to try and get the 13th? Based on the old 9th (Horvat) for Schneider deal? ( and the Bob rumour not happening) it compares.
