I don’t really like the Dmen in that zone, which ones are you high on value wise? If we could get 28 & 37 - take Rees & Grewe (future Cup run calibre top 9 skilled grit like Madden)... then take Spence at 40, Constantinou at 71, Konovalov in the 4th, Carter Berger later etc etc etc... That’d be (frank)ing ideal

If they can't sign Mrazek or are unwilling to fork over big cash for him because Ned is "oh so ready" then trading for a proven guy with a modest cap hit is actually an ideal situation.

What is dumb is going into a season coming off a final four appearance and handing the reigns (uncontested) in net to a guy with a whopping 90 minutes of experience

I am with you actually regarding using picks to maximize forward firepower and skill. But if we had those extra picks in our "fanasty" I would probably use one for Lassi Thomson and or maybe Thomas Harley. With all the high end USDTP forwards in this draft, I think we could be surprised at what dmen get pushed down.
