My dudes,

S&BD talking Taylor Hall for #7 OA, probably hypothetical, but sounds reasonable. Saw Taylor Hall in Jersey vs. Sabres his Hart Trophy year. Scored 2 goals, but one got called back on ticky tack offsides. Dude is a total pro. I say get him if u can.

There are people that live in a "What if world" or a "Go for it world" I would rather strike out swinging then with the bat on my shoulder.

Spend the money...On Talent, figure everything else out later.

- hehateme

You're striking out swinging here, the Tim Murray approach

Congrats you just set the team back another 5 years.

You don't spend tons of money on players when you have RFA's coming up and you still have a Kyle Okposo on your roster.

Now if you can come up with a plan to move him I am all ears to adding high prices (and talented players)

Fixed.

THANK YOU!

If this roster was anywhere near a legit playoff team and needed a high priced player to put them over the hump then by all means go for it.

Until then you're just spending money on bad contracts that COULD hurt you keeping your young core in place.

Yea I'm not sure how we got to this point either. I'd take PK in a MF'n heart beat in Buffalo.

IMO, NSH is looking to shed salary to add more offensively so they look at their corps of PK, Ellis, Josi, and Ellis who are their Captain and both As. PK has almost double the Cap Hit as all of them. They can deal him and still be very good back there. Add in they have Fabbro too.

I am totally on board with getting PK

Because it probably means Risto is gone for forward help

But there is so much crap on this roster still

with eichel, skinner, reinhart up front
dahlin, risto, montour and pk on the back end

team should be a legit playoff team within 3 years even if they brought back tim murray

Negotiate signing him 8 for 10 mil per. I would be willing to move forward with him. I’d bet on him.

Canucks CapFriendly finding.

BUF gets: Virtanen, Woo, and 2nd rounder
VAN gets: Risto

This person has severely underrated how bad Benning is at his job.

Woo is intriguing. Their 2nd rounder last year who just put up 66 pts in 62 games as a DMan. I hope to god no one here would actually sell Risto for that no matter your feelings on him.

- JVince11

Another fantastic trade brought to you by Cap Friendly.

Scandella and bogo for late picks

Risto for a top 6 forward

some youth for PK subban

And another package for zucker.

That would be amazing offseason

Right and then when you have that roster and the Scandellas, Hunwicks, Sobtokas, and the Bogos of this team are gone then you spend more willingly on UFAs.

I am completely fine adding PK to this roster, his cap isn't going to hurt you

It's adding PK and a contract like Duchene that is gonna hurt you

After living with Darcy for too many years, I loved the fact that Murray tried to better this team getting good players. ROR was a great trade when we got him and the money he is making is going to be WAY below what a second line center will make in this years FA market. (see Duchene contract July 1)

I love the E-Kane trade too. there was nothing wrong with getting those players. Did he over pay, maybe but at least he tried. The players that we traded away are not exactly lighting up the NHL by any means either...

I am down with all of that because it doesn't hurt you long term either

Zucker has term left and at a semi reasonable cap hit and you're not giving Duchene $10 million and 7 years

it should be no more than Nylander, hickey and the STL 2021 second rounder...pulling $9m off the books for NSH is huge so let's not overpay
