It’s not that i don’t wanna compete
I just don’t think that we need PK to do it
Give me Josh Manson (or someone similar) to pair with Dahlin at a Cap hit of around 4mil
Then use that 5mil extra towards another solid defenseman or a 2C or a scoring winger
I’ll put it this way...
PK at 9mil
OR
Manson & Hoffman at 9.3mil
Pretty easy choice imo - jdfitz77
Because Josh Manson is on the move and can be had Easily. |

A deal for Pk would probably be less than what it takes to acquire Manson let alone Manson and Hoffman.
You’re not going to steal PK but you’re going to get him much cheaper than you should. |

It’s gonna cost more in a trade to get Manson and Hoffman than it should to get PK
Trade for PK and move Risto for forward help.
Sign a depth D and a depth winger and you might just have something if Olofsson is the real deal. - Stripes77
It’s worth spending the extra assets to have younger players at better Cap hits for a longer period of time... imo |

I just have a feeling that Risto+ for Boeser is could be the big move.
Seems like the Canucks do stupid poop and they rumored to be having difficulty getting a deal done (can’t remember if someone mentioned that here or on Twitter) with Boeser.

I get your point we need two stay at home D-men left and right not a PK subban. The guy is a selfish player who has been said to be a locker room cancer. I thought we didn’t want another Evander Kane. |

I don't think he's a locker room cancer. He's just a big personality |

I like PK
But i don’t think Dahlin needs a $9mil partner
Find him a “good” player in his mid20s that we can keep for 5-7yeqrs at a reasonable price
Then u have the extra 4-5mil to spend for another decent defenseman or a goal scorer |

Point is still the same - they would need to give up something similar to get someone like him |

Not sure what the inside joke is here so I won’t jump to conclusions. A friend of mine is a life long Hab fan with some friends on the inside and he says the guy is not a team guy. |

He's also 4 years younger, and has actually been good in his first 2 years instead of being an AHL player on an NHL team. |

From an article on The Athletic, by the Bolts reporter:
Tampa is far from the only team that’s expressed interest. In fact, now that Jacob Trouba has been traded, I’m told interest has picked up again over the past 24 hours. Ristolainen is probably the top target now for teams eyeing to trade for a top-pairing D.
If I’m the Sabres, I don’t get into a serious discussion with Tampa unless Mikhail Sergachev is on the table.
Interesting. |

Nope he isn’t involved in any way with Nashville. Just passing along what he said about PK when He was a hab. |

Ok good for you, I’m glad you’re contrary to pretty much every one on this site with a few exceptions. Be a pretty boring place if everyone agreed with everything I said. |

First: Alabama(my parents listened to country, so I didn't really have a choice) 1990-something. Melody Fair
Last: Symphony X or Dream Theater can't remember. Think it was the same year Toronto and UB respectively.
Next: No idea
Best: Summer Sanatarium: Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Metallica. Summer of SARS Toronto 2003.
Runner-up: Nevermore: Town Ballroom on the Cinco de Mayo 2006 Sabres Sens 7-6 OT game. Mostly because of the game. When poopty bands were playing we were out in the main bar watching the game.
I'll add a category. Worst: Van Halen in Buffalo, mid 2000's, Sammy was pushing 250, and so were the tickets. Just awful. |
