It was said last night;
to hell with the Cap, spend it on good players and figure it out later, lol.
In all seriousness, we are seeing what was predicted a while ago
The stars getting a ton of money, at the expense of middling players and a greater need for young players on ELC's to contribute early and often. - IonSabres
I hope we're in on Dzingel |

It was from a TB fan. Looks like an offer to clear cap space to sign Point. I would do it. Verhaeghe is an interesting prospect, he lit it up in Syracuse. |

Do they?
Is it because of GM Casey Nelson? |

I saw it. His point signing was very low.
8.5 x 8.
Needs to raise it by at least 1mil. |

I don't know enough about Miller but the rest is a Tampa win. Nelson and Girgs have utility value. |

Idk, do you really think he's worth $1.3m more than Hayes?

This rumor about Vancouver doesn't make much sense to me. They don't make a great partner in trade and no idea why they might want to talk about Bogo, who just had his second hip surgery in 14 months. Benning would have interest in Risto, sure but I'm not sure they have the pieces in return to us.
If I'm Botts I look at Philly for D help. Sanheim or Haag would be solid additions. Their D corps is a bit loaded right now. And who knows maybe Ghost is available. So much going on this week.. |

I read a week or two ago that Ghost was indeed available. I thought I read that they were in talks of dealing him to Montreal. |

First - Ted Nugent as an infant. My Godmother worked for his tour and my mom has the backstage pass still. Late 85-86. First I can remember - Hootie and the Blowfish or Boyz II Men with Montel Jordan. Both around 94.
Last - legitimately, it may have been twenty one pilots two years ago or South by So What (Every Time I Die, Forever The Sickest Kids, We The Kings, Mayday Parade). Both were Summer of 2017. I've seen bar bands, but I don't really count them.
Next - Edit: seeing the Goo Goo Dolls/Train here next weekend.
Best - Black Keys in Vegas. The Rolling Stones/Dave Matthews show in El Paso was also pretty interesting.
Worst - Taking Back Sunday. Fun Pop punk songs, but they haven't delivered for me live. |

Now I see another person putting Borgen as a top pairing in the future.... is this dude really that good? I guess I don't know enough about him but I didn't realize his ceiling was THAT high. Higher than Guhle, Nelson, Pilut, McCabe, etc? - JVince11
In this organization as presently constructed, Borgen doesn't have to have a higher ceiling than any of the LhD's mentioned as he plays the right. With Montour and Risto being so close in capabilities as 2nd Pairing D's it leaves them with a gigantic hole on the right for the top pairing.
Hence why he is often projected by posters as that guy.
A bit early for me to project that, but it would be awesome if he grew into it.
I'd love to see the Sabres move their 31st up to say around 10-12th to draft Sodestrom. |

He is a defensive liability. Didn't play all that great in the playoffs.
Can't argue with his points production though.
He'd be solid as a 2LW...could he play center for a year or two until CM is ready?
Interesting guy for sure. |

The way I understand that is that Edler and Schenn are UFAs. Tanev is their only other vet dman and he got a bad lower body injury in March and could miss a big portion of 2019 season.
That leaves them with Hughes, Stetcher, Hutton, & Pouliot as their top 4 dmen and Biega as their 5th. Yes. THAT Biega. That is probably the worst in the entire NHL. I believe that is why they are trying to inquire about adding vet Dmen. They are gonna try hard to resign Schenn this week I read online as well.
In the long run, Hughes/Juolevi with Hutton/Stetcher is not terrible but they need help still. |

First- 1977 at Rich Stadium- Yes, Seger and J Geils, still have the ticket stub.
Best- Seger did a weekend show at the old Aud in 1982 and it was absolutely awesome. I also saw the Allam Brothers at the Beacon theater in NYC in 2003 and that was kick ass too. Springsteen at the arena in 2002 was also a memorable concert. Call it a tie.
Last- wife and I saw the Eagles last year at the arena, they always put on a great show.
Worst- Sting in 2000 at Darien Lake. Not impressed. |
