That's where i was coming from...Edmonton needs defensemen on both sides. I didn't want to use any of our RD obviously.

Good chance yes and in that case let them. From the Habs perspective they're pretty deep NHL level at wing without high end talent, his ceiling is high end. The problem is his floor/current state may not even put him in the current top 9. So you'd have to trade other assets to get him in the lineup. I'm not opposed to that, especially for a top 4 LD but it creates more moving pieces. High upside with decent bust chance...I think that's the value or similar to it that I'd want to place on it
