-Gudas for Niskanen - Gudas was likely gone after 2019 and it’s pretty apparent Niskanen is the better player for one additional year
-Overpaying and undervaluing picks to chase a declining and one dimensional Braun. Might agree slightly, but bringing in some leadership to complement the young kids over trotting out Gudas and one more year of AMac also makes sense if you want to start competing
-Chasing to potentially overpay more mediocrity in Hayes. We’ll have to see the final terms if he signs, but he is one of the better centers this FA season also. I hope they don’t overpay also, but that’s the nature of the FA season.

It doesn’t matter. If you move one of Provorov, Sanheim, Ghost or Myers, Hagg and Morin become even more important.

You’re just desperately try to win your own agenda. Even if we traded Hagg for Braun, it’s still a bad move because you only get Braun a couple years and you lose a young, good role player like Hagg for example for a small fix.

You guys will like Braun. He is very steady and works hard.

Nothing wrong with the assistants they hired. Gudas for Niskanen was a solid move. The Braun trade as it stands now, I don't like. I don't think the Flyers should sign Hayes for what it is going to cost. I like the player but he doesn't move the bar enough.

I still think that forward group needs an upgrade somewhere beyond just Hayes. Still too many passers and not enough shooters imo. If the posts can start going TK's way that will be huge.

As long as we get a young skilled forward its not burning down anything. You would have a point if Ghost is traded for a guy like Marleau but Fletcher isnt that dumb. He has made smart moves to better the team. You cant sit there and just build through the draft. All Cup winners add pieces. People thought St.Louis overpaid for RoR and look how that turned out.
