While I normally disagree with some of the things you put(especially your broad opinion on the flyers moves). Hayes is a drastic overpayment, but flyers fans get mad at Hexy and thus losing a job for being too passive. Insert new GM who is making moves and are not at all horrrible. Braun is a top 4 d man who compliments their existing roster, Niskanen, if healthy, can be a very very good player for this team as well and has succeeded in every team he’s been on. Finally the Hayes move is the cost of doing business in theNHL UFA centers will garner this contract.



I do agree with your analysis of the Coyotes though, if they are aloud to spend some loot these next coming years I think they will be good. All that being said Raanta is not elite elite.

A move that looks bad because Domi had a career year and a crazy shooting percentage, while Galchenyuk got injured twice. I predict Galchenyuk to be the far better player going forward.

The strome deal is a bust man. That was a bad trade by Chayka because the coach didn't know what to do with him. It's okay to admit your GM has a bad trade. All GMs do

The domi-gally swap is more of a lateral move than anything else and it'll work out for both teams

Leafs should enter next year as the favorites, and if not, they'll be close. Yzerman built the Lightning (win or lose, awesome accomplishment) and Gorton built the bruins core in four months. He'll have one of the best teams in hockey by the end of next year. They're going to be great.
