Agreed it's a step in the right direction. I think that forward group COULD be playoff caliber.

Who knows if Risto can be perfected, but I think RK can get more out of him as well. Hopefully lessen the defensive lapses at least. We shall see. Was a good armchair edition regardless.

Pretty much how I feel. I just can't imagine that the off-season is Vesey and a 7d UFA. If I were a season ticket holder, I would return the ticket renewal form with a bag of dog doo doo

I'm def with you... I see why you did it. Zucker is above average but not a game changer. A slightly better Sheary. Eakins is very meh. Puljujarvi is not good at the hockey thing. And Vesey has an almost identical PPG number as Mittlestadt does.

I just think they could be better choices.

He's a 40 point guy that filled in really well for Haula when he got hurt.

He's an okay defensive center. He produced decently with more d zone starts than o zone starts.

I'd love Haula from Vegas though I think he has a higher ceiling

Same. Botts knows this team needs more than an auxiliary forward and a couple average D.

Botts said he was going to work the trade fronts more than UFA pool in the one conference which makes me wonder what hte plan really is. I def don't think he wants to overpay a long term contract in the UFA pool.

I think he really just wants to shoot for guys on 2 or 3 year deals maybe for like 4-6.5M range.

Don't think they are concerned with Reinhart as of now, others things to deal with first.

You think you are getting the 60 point 30 goal scoring Zucker who had those numbers because Parise missed half the year?? Or are you getting 2nd line Zucker who is a 45 pt player and 22 goal scorer?

I wouldn't be upset and I wouldn't be excited. If we did 31OA for him I'd be fine.. be happier if it was like 2020 2nd and 2021 3rd.
