Oh I think you under estimate the chances. We’ve seen basically the same roster for five years. Saying you are going to do something and actually doing it are very different.

Same roster for 5yrs then i must’ve pulled a RIP van Winkle & missed it 😂😂

I don't care who it's on it was incredibly stupid, bite the bullet and start the rebuild.

I could easily get in on this

Benning has done a masterful job of overpaying for players in trade who become worthless in the same trade market. That he is surprised that the rest of the league doesn’t value Canuck players (outside the 4 horsemen) is the surprising thing.

Its moot when we were not going anywhere anyways. The chore is what’s next.

He’s the GM, who else would you like to blame?

It’s plug and play buddy. Take out Vrbata insert Eriksson, take out Eriksson insert Lucic, take out Baertschi insert Leivo, etc etc.

As I just said, the roster I posted has 8 players that weren’t on the 2018 opening day roster, that’s 1/3 of the team.

Owners, fans, media, injuries, bad luck and indigestion.

The fact is, a lot of those factors are out of his control, but none of them are going away. He cashes his very big checks, and taking responsibility for the team is part of the job description.

But ultimately Benning is the “decision maker” he might have to ask the owner for permission, but the moves are his idea.

This.

Also, Upper Bench Merlot - so good. We’re banging through a few cases of the 2013 right now

Perhaps he took the job promising something that was undeliverable because it’s what his potential employers wanted to hear. That would be understandable, but it’s on him.

Great price too. They are a little hit and miss, but the bottles they do well are some of the best values in the valley. Their Chardonnay is also pretty dope.

He's the GM, he's the one in charge so of course he's the one to blame, who hired Willie?

I don’t think we have to speculate too hard. Both TL and JB told tales when they were hired. They both thought it would be a quick turn around, and they were wrong.

Yeah, Chard is good, every vintage of Merlot I have tried has been stunning. Alc is maybe a bit high, but rich, tannins are agressive when young but the ‘13 is drinking great right now.

Try the Little Engine merlot if you haven’t already. They aren’t super cheap but it’s hard to find reds that big up here.
