Might be a good time for Doug Armstrong to FLEECE Botterill again! He would be happy to trade a young Defenseman and Forward for another disappointment of the Sabres! - IBleedBlu1

BREAKING: The Tampa Bay Rays have received MLB's permission to explore becoming two-city team: the Tampa Bay area and Montreal, sources tell ESPN. The plan: Play early-season home games in the Tampa Bay area and finish the season in Montreal. News at ESPN:

Just a little info on the Subban front, if we trade for him and take on all the contact, Botterill also wants Eeli Tolvanen to be included. Don't shoot the messenger. - SABRES 89
Now that’s something i could get on board with
I absolutely LOVE that Botts is thinking that way
Bc now i think we can also assume he’s doing the same with the other teams up against the Cap too

What? So that after the first year they can get 87 people in Montreal? |

No, this is what happens when you don't keep teams where you originally put them and expand based on the size of a city and not the interest in a sports team from that city.
People get paid to research this stuff and fail at it miserably constantly.
The NHL actually considered moving the Penguins to Kansas City before the whole Crosby thing. They DID put a team in Atlanta again, just to move them back to Winnipeg, which they originally relocated to Phoenix and keep in the desert, on the outskirts of Phoenix so far that it's literally in a different city.
The NFL lets the Raiders relocate every two decades, They moved a team from LA to St. Louis, where they won a Championship, then moved them back to LA. Wouldn't help the Chargers stay in San Diego because of stadium issues, then moves them to a stadium that's smaller than some high school football stadiums...
Really, it all comes down to who is throwing their money at me the hardest and how soon can I get it. |

You realize NO ONE was going to Expos games, right? As much as we make fun of Carolina or Florida for the lack of fans it was 100 times worse in Montreal. It was totally unfeasible to keep a team there. The Sabres had 15K less people at their home games this year than Montreal did in twice as many games in their last season in Montreal.
The Expos were at 25% of the NL average. |

You begin by not typing www.hockeybuzz.com into your address bar but you can start before that and just not wake up or leave your house in the morning. |

Unless you can convince Tampa to trade him so they don't have to put him on LTIR.
They still have to make a move or two IMO. |

There is a reason Sabres fans get so
much poop.
Garth on Twitter right now “Jason Botterill can call Chuck Fletcher and offer him Marco Scandella for Ghost”
Like seriously WTF. |

I’m starting to be on the side of -Just don’t ever worry about the salary cap because there will just be lockouts and your bad contracts will just retire.
Go get Duchene for 12 mil, who cares.
He will die from measles in 2023 when we want to unload his contract |
