I don't anticipate many major trades during the draft because the league isn't even going to have there salary cap total announced until sometime Saturday, which is going to affect some teams ability to make a deal.
I would bet that the general managers and teams in general know before the draft, and it will just be announced to the public then. Not to mention there's a general ballpark that the public already knows, so you could base it off of that if needed. That said, I also don't see many bigly trades happening. Maybe the rando one or two like many other years, but rumors be a roomin. |

Just inquiring..I see Cole Caufields name mentioned to be drafted by the Sabres. Has anyone here seen him play? Is he a pure goal scorer that they say he is? - sabreadvocate1
Yes tying Alex Ovechkin in the world under 18 tournament for goals and that was sat in 2003
And Broke every USA record |

I think GM's have a sense of what the cap will be, within $500K or so and they can work within that. We might not see as many major trades but there will be activity for sure. |

Sorry, but I am not sold on Caufield. Any of the guys not named Krebs is good with me. I noticed that nobody talks about Boldy...Cozens, Zegras, Dach, Boldy or come combo is likely to be there at 7. I'm ok with those 4. Not that I have any real clue....
I'd move Okposo for Neal, no hesitation. I'd like to see Zucker here, especially being that motivated.
2C is important...but when we were really good, we had 61-9-26 as a third line. If the second if fixed..the third must be able to roll out on regular shifts.
53-9-92
41-XX/23-xx/23
43-37-71
28-22-26
That's a bottom 10 team.
There is a lot of surgery needed and not enough propofol to fix the team in one off season.
At least this post isn't about #90. |

Trade Ristolainen and he’ll be killing Buffalo for 10 years. Contract is manageable, RHD, offense, physical. Reduce his minutes, coach him up and get a solid partner to stay with.

I mentioned Boldy yesterday.
I like what he brings.
Anyone else have a opinion on him? |

Turcotte or Caufield for me.
That’s who it is down to.
I think Caufield could get a look right away, IMO, if he had an actual center to play with IE sign Duchene. |

I like perry...for one year...not sure if he has anything left in the tank, but a great team player and leader...
would take him over Pominville any day of the week including sunday - Michael Pachla
Pears is the kind of wienerly bastard that can def. help a team ...Ducks just have so many RW coming they couldn’t keep him for that $$
Rakell / Kase / Silf / Terry ...
But his hands have never left him and around the net he’s deadly.
Word is the knee is fully healthy... he was never fast or swift but on PP and 3rd line he’d be a nice add .. and Buffalo being close to London added bonus. |

Hey man London is on the other side of the ocean. Buffalo don’t take kindly to tea and crumpets...and scarfs that don’t serve any purpose. |

We have enough passers imo .
Saying no to Cole because of the size would be a huge mistake |
