It would be nice to know that more than one of the players in charge of our offense is a known commodity. - Der Kaiser
In that scenario we are still acquiring a veteran to play 2C until Mitts proves himself and while the prospect develops. |

Does it Matter. One of, or both the players will turn into nothing special. Im so sick of waiting on prospect. And they they suck. Youve been here a decade. How many Caseys have we been waiting on? - Mentalorgasm5
Didn’t know u could see into the future
Mind hooking me up with the lotto numbers??

why not lay out what you’d like to see us do? |

The chewing is accurate, but it's missing Phil's vague sense of confusion and delirium. |

They are, in fact, known commodities.
But beyond that, they are not very much at all |

That’s where trades come into play, as well as hoping two of Nylander, Tage, Olofsson, Smith turn out. With superior playmakers even an average winger could pot 20+. We need elite hockey players whether or not they are playmakers or goal scorers. - Pegullaville
But u also need a balanced team
If we have a bunch of Cj Smiths on the wings then the talents of those playmakers will just be wasted
Aren’t u the one saying Jack will be soooooo much better with a “star” winger? |

Hence the reason we have sucked the last 20 years. Drafting breeds long term success. The Blues drafted Pietrangelo, Tarasenko, Schwartz, Parayko, Binnington, Dunn, Thomas. Bruins drafted 90% of their roster. Tampa, Toronto, Calgary, Winnipeg all draft well. The Penguins, Blackhawks, and Red Wings dynasties were built on strong drafting. - Pegullaville
LOL! The Blues fit your narrative now. I thought Blues fans were supposed to be pissed they made the playoffs? Isn’t that right Flacccoville. |

They want to keep the FO inside the zone if the attacking team is responsible for putting the puck out of play? WTF?
All face-offs be at one of the two dots in the attacking zone when the attacking team is responsible for the puck going out of play in the attacking zone. |

Unless we are moving up to 2 though and getting Kakko I don’t think any winger in this draft class would be considered a star.
I don’t really think there is a right or wrong answer to picking anyone at 7. If they think Caufield is the answer then I’m all for it. Would just love to know what Botts’ plan is down the middle. |
