More reactionary rules. A puck hit the netting in the playoffs and resulted in a goal. Expand coach's challenge! And unlimited challenges, awesome. |

I don’t mind that to be honest - OneKaneOneCup
I get that it's to "increase scoring", but you don't get to (frank) up and then have no consequences for (frank)ing up. |

Unless we are moving up to 2 though and getting Kakko I don’t think any winger in this draft class would be considered a star.
I don’t really think there is a right or wrong answer to picking anyone at 7. If they think Caufield is the answer then I’m all for it. Would just love to know what Botts’ plan is down the middle. - Pegullaville
Maybe JB's plan is a development/as-is approach? |

LOL! The Blues fit your narrative now. I thought Blues fans were supposed to be pissed they made the playoffs? Isn’t that right Flacccoville. - Hatboro_Swords
The Blues proved me wrong. You win some, you lose some. Like I said before, I had Jets beating the Bruins in the cup final in my bracket and the Blues made it out of that series.
It still doesn’t change the way I feel about moving on from ROR, however it would of been nice if Berglund and Sobotka weren’t terrible and filled the roles we were anticipating them filling this year. I’m not giving up on Thompson yet and what we do with the draft picks remain to be seen. We were not winning the cup this year with O’Reilly still here even if he stayed. |

Whoa there pump the brakes, I didn't expect 20 goals between the two in all honesty but it was even worse than I could have thought. |

U think he scores there or just shovels the puck into the pads of the goalie similar to all of Dahlin’s pre-draft highlights? |

According to a report by Craig Morgan, the Arizona Coyotes are expected to add Phil Housley to their coaching staff.
Housley was fired as the head coach of the Buffalo Sabres in April after two years on the job. This is a great add to Arizona’s staff considering Housley was highly sought after when he was a member of the Nashville Predators in the same role. This is the first club Housley has been linked to since his dismissal.
This is for the German guy in case he forgot. |

Because I played the odds that two #1 seeds wouldn’t get knocked out in a first round playoff series ? (First time ever that happened) I was wrong about the Blues winning the cup this year ? Who on this board predicted the Blues winning the whole thing ?
If ROR doesn’t start to decline by age 29 then I’ll welcome more of your disdain. However all of my predictions are predicated on future results. Just because I don’t pile on Tage like 80% of this board does that makes me wrong too that he doesn’t have a chance of becoming an NHL player ?
Am I wrong about thinking Skinner doesn’t deserve $9M when every media outlet in the world says he’s overpaid ? Once again predicated on future results and if he lights the world on fire I’ll happily fall on the sword. |

I’d still move him again but the cap space needs to be used on younger players. Not Perry or Subban IMO.
But with it being pick 31 the return is bad. I was dead wrong about it |

Well i think 1C & 2C is obvious
Asplund & Davidsson are developing
Baker seems pretty high on both
Just signed Ruotsalainen too, although i think he will end up on the wing
And last summer, i remember Botts commenting on how Sam can play Center
So maybe he will get another look at some point
Regardless...
our 3C doesn’t need to be set in stone tomorrow night
It’s gonna still take time to build this roster into a contender |

Alex Edler is older than God and just got paid $6M. Everyone is overpaid. Just wait to see what Marner signs for. He played with Tavares or Matthews for 97.3% of the time and people want to pay him $12M. It's asinine. |

More scoring, more scoring, more scoring
Hasn’t hurt the NFL or NBA or MLB
Maybe the NHL is finally figuring out what ppl wanna see???
Hint: it’s more goals |

Oh, I want more scoring more than anyone, try increasing the size of the (frank)ing net. Not this bullpoop that will result in 2 more O-Zone FOs a game. Hence the quotes around "increased scoring". |
