I know it’s long but I had to share this from someone on a Facebook post about Trouba. “kratzov and kakoo “ lmao
“Tee Jay i really hope he proves me wrong but i feel like we just traded a first round and pionk for a slouch of a player who is just going to be bad in the locker room and then become the great distraction of a hold out cause he wants boku bucks. Add to that him being there means less ice time for the kids they should be developing and playing. Now if they add a veteran center well there goes even more playing time that should be for the kids to do this rebuild properly. Then if they get panarin well now youve just lost even more playing time. I see how this is gonna play out. Quinn has somehow convinced gort that he can win like this. Yes you can win like this but you arnt winning a cup like this. Stunting all the growth of the young players. Quinn did it last year. And for what? To trade hayes for a pick and a career 3rd liner to just trade that pick and a dman thats gives 110% on the ice for a guy known to sniff coke, cause locker room issues and thinks hes better than he is having played for a good team in Winnipeg. Hes reason for wanting to leave was because he was below other players on the depth chart. If thats ok with you than thats fine but a guy that doesnt want to outplay his competition to rise up in the depth charts on a playoff contending team isnt the kind of player id want on my team. There was zero need to add anyone from outside this off season. Next year we have kratzov, kakoo and many others fighting to be on this roster. The only way im ok with bringing in trouba is if it means shattenkirk and staal are out.
Last year they should have rolled 4 lines even with every line having the young kids. All getting 15 minutes a game whether they won or lost. Instead zibs line got nearly 30 minutes a game leaving scrap time for the kids. That winning streak they had in november doomed them. Quinn got first year winning coach glaze in his eyes and got iff track of rebuilding. I know this cause we had a few 5 on 3s at that time and not one rookie was on the ice. Kids cant learn if they dont play. I could go on for hours about this. Im not a new fan and im not a salty fan biut im a realistic fan and i can see the writing on the wall of whats happening. They are caving into the pressure of being a playoff team right now instead of stsying the course of 3 years.” - Slimtj100

BREAKING: The Tampa Bay Rays have received MLB's permission to explore becoming two-city team: the Tampa Bay area and Montreal, sources tell ESPN. The plan: Play early-season home games in the Tampa Bay area and finish the season in Montreal. News at ESPN:
this is some wild baseball news - jimbro83
Is that only a temporary plan for a few seasons, to in the end, have simultaneously a new stadium be built while under a two city team?
I believe the Rays have had troubles in trying to get a new stadium approved to be built down in Tampa. They have seen their attendance gradually reduce in recent seasons at Tropicana Field. |

I believe it's a slow transition to make a move back to Montreal permanent
I dont think theyll ever approve a new stadium in Tampa |

what's the chance that this warlock of a combined city baseball team would be able to attract free agents - jimbro83

Toronto Maple Leafs bracing for activity. Telling teams they will listen on Kapanen and Kadri. Would need a D back in a Kapanen trade and a centre back for Kadri. Strong sense Connor Brown could go as well. |

Well they're locked into that poop dump of a stadium until 2027. So it feels like they're trying to get some leverage on the city to get them out of the stadium and are going to threaten to move to Montreal in order to do it. |

I really think Kapanen is the fall back option if they don’t land Panarin. Both RH wingers. They can’t really trade them a D tho (that can play right away). Unless Deangelo? |

Earlier word this morning was that they are making Marner be priority #1 to keep there. So in addition to those Leafs you mentioned, they could also be trying to trade Nylander. |

The Leafs would love to have Georgiev, after witnessing his game directly first hand in person. Possibly a package of Georgiev and Deangelo can yield a good return from them. Or maybe if dealing them Georgiev, they would consider Shatty with the Rangers retaining that 50% of Shatty's remaining contract.
I would not want to in the first place trade Georgiev, nor trade Georgiev alone at a low return, but rather package him to benefit our needs better in some way. |

I would take him too, but he doesn’t strike me as someone the rangers, especially JD, would go after. He’s a punk |

maybe not, but for 3 years, they'd have Zibinajed and Kadri down the middle at a combined 9.8 mil cap hit
that's gold Jerry

But I thought you liked "jam", and especially of the Bickell flavor, back in his healthier days playing for the Blackhawks.
