I’m just saying, remember when we both liked Leimeiux and it was because of his usage, being held back a bit. 4th line minutes. I think he’s a similar situation as that, like possibly skills of a number 2. It’s always cycles and stuff, he needs skilled wingers

Biggest thing I noticed from Lemeiux last year when we got him was stamina. I hope he is working on that over the summer.

Glad he was able to satisfy you and isn't a two-pump chump

Any other FAs you think the rangers will target in addition to Panarin?

Duchene is probably too much to also add. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them kick the tires on Perry for some veteran leadership and a stopgap in case some of the younger kids would benefit more from the AHL for a year or 2 but I imagine he’d want to go to a bonafide contender.

That was the problem he needs to learn to edge better.

By the way, yours was the only pick I disagreed with

Did our trade go through?

Bought out by the club he had the 50 goal season for to bring in to a new team where he may not have the same chemistry, with NO guarantee he can do it again, (frank)ing brilliant. free agency is paying for what people did on other teams in hopes he can replicate it or sustain it, I don't see that with Perry

Its for a million bucks tho. Maybe 2. Wether Tom is serious or not, it’s not the worst idea. I’d picture him as the new Brendan Smith, 13th forward, etc. Plug n play on 3rd line if needed

To follow up on this basic tweet earlier (was in the car driving at the time) was told Arizona and the New York Islanders were discussing a potential deal the would send Alex Galchenyuk to Long Island. Still texting to find the possible return to ARZ #Isles #Coyotes #Arizona

Here's another tweet to have you & your "eyes" follow up on:

One name to keep an eye on for the Blackhawks when free agency begins ... Anders Lee. I'm told his preference is to return to NYI, but might be looking for more term that they're willing to offer.
