I find it much different from when I was younger and outside the top few picks nobody really cared. There's so much more information these days on the prospects, video, etc. It's like the NFL draft was a decade ago. |

The other coast has had beautiful weather for roughly 10-14 days. 22-26 C, mostly sunny. It became overcast late this afternoon and the rain started an hour or so ago. It's supposed to last all day tomorrow. A day of R&R is in order. |

You pay income tax wherever you work throughout the year but you claim wherever your principle residency is.
If you play in Carolina (41 games a year, you’re out of state the other 41) but live in Washington State (primary residence), example, you can claim your yearly taxes in Washington State and get a refund from overpaying. I know that’s an oversimplification but you get the idea. There’s also so many things you can write off in the USA vs Canada. |

It's annoying hearing this 25-30 teams: "thank you for your hospitality Vancouver, congrats to the Blues, shoutout to our wonderful fans watching at our draft party back home"
The commish can just say it once at the start of the draft and get it over with |
