I still can't get over the hilarity of the snake bite injury.

I'm more surprised at EP in tears over Botch. He must've got along pretty well with him, I guess Botch wasn't as much of a monster as he was made out to be by some people.

When you have an accurate cannon in each faceoff circle (BB & EP) you don’t really need a shooter at the point. That’s antiquated PP stuff. The NTDP PP from this year was my fav to watch maybe ever & we almost have the pieces to replicate it...

I think guys like Botch you knew what you were getting. People respect that honesty regardless of difference of opinions.

Depends which side you’re running it through. On EP’s side you want the down low player to be LH. The rover (playing Zegras role) can be either with no real consequence.

JHughes - EP
Caufield - BB
York - QHughes
Zegras - (creative rover - elite passer/play reader/spacer)
Turcotte - (behind net/crease duty)

Edler taking shots from the right takes away from EP’s setup & gives EP a much worse feed angle (and feed passer). I swear - a lot of you will be shocked when you see how pinpoint Quinn’s passes are. He puts the puck on a tee for you (we’ve never seen anything like it in Van) I can’t (frank)ing wait

Unless we get Myers, it will be quinn everywhere he wants and edler on the point. That’s my prediction. Quinn doesnt really play point, he plays all over the place. You need a solid defender back there imo.

He can be on the 2nd unit maybe, even there I prefer Hutton/Stecher since they can stickhandle and walk the line better than Edler, Edler is too stagnant on his skates and slow with the puck on his stick back there at times, that's why a poop load of his shots get blocked and lead to SH chances against.

He just doesn't look fluid on the PP.
