I don’t know the ins and outs, but I believe he would need to buy himself out. He plays two seasons (instead of the one that Hughes played), signs his ELC and burns the first year coming over in April of 2021, just in time for our playoff run.

His game is well rounded & NHL ready & only a matter of time when he comes over. Basically is a plug n play player to suit Bo’s game. It will be a line that will be hard to play against.
