I don’t hate Wheeler at all! I love Wheeler.

I’m worried about Wheeler and his contract due to his age, and his across the board drop in everything last season. Pair his decline with the now rampant rumours that he may actually be the problem in the room, and you have me quietly panicking

Okay great, I just wondered. I'm a big Wheeler fan as well.

One does have to wonder if Wheeler was playing hurt late last year, or something personal or what. Something seemed wrong.
Also if problem in dressing room, well, there is a problem. Guess we'll find out when they drop the puck.
I still think/hope that Wheeler drives the bus on the Jets.

So what if they do? Marner is a superior player to Connor and Laine. I said before we lose our 4 firsts and gain another teams 4 firsts which are likely to be higher in the draft anyway.

Remember fear is ego, it will keep you trapped in a place where you cannot escape.

Better off giving Kevin Labanc an offer sheet. He played the 3rd line and 2nd PP unit and put up 56 points. That's a guy who is ready for a bigger role with a team. Jets could offer him a little less than 6 and SJ can't match that and would let him walk, getting only a 1st and 3rd in return.

Chara and Lindell most likely got votes from reporters who cover their teams. Like I mentioned previously, no one in the Winnipeg media has ever voted for either Trouba or Lowry and they watch them play and practice daily. It just shows how some people on this board overvalue players on our team.

its a little nebulous but I like to think that reporters don't report everything they know. Maybe someone voted Maurice because there was so much shyt going on behind the scenes that they wanted to honor his work (or maybe it was a spoof). Maybe Tanev gets the vote because ???
