Corey Pronman - @coreypronman: Cam York is a very good player, and the Flyers got a great prospect.

I am so (frank)ing angry

- feelingkettle

I’m feeling good man. I’m feeling good. I want Caufield yeah but come on this kid has serious scouting backing.

Not sad about York, but Caufield is gonna torch the Flyers at every opportunity.

Playing for the Habs?

Yep! Habs/Caufield

The new Morin. Caufield will be 35 goal scorer.
- darkerens

He’s closer to another Sanheim then Morin.
Puck moving defenseman are gold these days, and they likely had at least 4 players on their board they valued nearly equally and trading down and getting a 2nd rounder was smart.

The Flyers passed on Caufield. TWICE.
- KGBflyers10

So they obviously had a player rated higher...gotta trust the scouts.

I have nothing against York as a pick. I think he’s fine. I just wanted a potential sniper to fill in a need.

I like our nice young defense. We did well building it. There’s potential.

I like Carter Hart. Who doesn’t?

Our offense looks good on paper, but doesn’t seem to work when put in motion. Maybe it’s the coaching. But I just think we’re missing a sniper.

Sure, that’s a cherry on top. Sure, that’s like a fancy new deep threat receiver. I prefer to build through defense first, too.

But at this point, a guy who can actually put the puck in the GD net is a huge necessity for us

im happy with the first pick.My only concern is who is taking over g in the next 2-3 years. We cant expect him to keep leading this team in pts.Thats why i hope they go after marner. All the talk here in Toronto is that he is available and willing to listen to other teams. Its not every day you get a free shot at a 100 pt 21 yr old

He has a # 1d potential....Jack Hughes said he has the best vision for a player he has ever seen....I’m good with the pick.

I trust that. I trust it. I’m good bro. I like it!

They wanted D. It was an organizational need. I think that skewed their in-house rankings a bit.

So we get a D to help restock our pool and get our 2nd round back almost in the same spot. I’m quietly ok with this. A sniper would have been nice. I always loved watching Briere. But I’ll live.

In Minnesota, Fletcher drafted Jonas Brodin and Matt Dumba.

These same Flyers scouts recommended Ivan Provorov, Ghost, and Travis Sanheim

Pretty sure I trust them more than some guy on FlyersBuzz

The Flyers are allergic to anyone under 5’11 and natural goal scorers. Kid never had a chance.
