I recently read that Benning is talking to Chiarelli about joining his staff?

Just some rumblings on the Draft Floor. Chicago is really high on Kirby Dach. Buffalo loves Spencer Knight which doesn't make sense but that's the buzz. If Broberg gets to Edmonton, they will take him & the PK Subban to Leafs is REALLY heating up. Some I question but we'll see! - TommyHawk
Of all the possibles Dach is not someone I want. I get visions of Daze and his frame and back issues. Tall players like Dach have to work harder and use more of their body to generate the speed they need. It’s a physics thing. His back will be the first thing to go.

If we draft Dach without drafting down I will be PISSED! We were gift wrapped the 3rd overall and I bet Dach doesn't go until 7/8. Byram or bust! |

If Manning can be dealt to Edmonton anything is possible. |

Well, the bright side is that if Chiarelli does join the Vancouver front office, Stan can call them up and dump some more crap on them for a decent return. |

Don't think Robertson is going to make it out of the 1st RD. I like Tracey, too. - Elbows15
We can hope right lol I mentioned on the Devils thread that if Podkolzin where to drop to 15 thats probably where I would feel comfortable trading up to but no sooner then that.
I think we are pretty good with Blackwood but if I can grab a 6'7 goalie in the 4th or 5th rounds I likely would as its seems to be a theme recently for the Devils ( Gillies Senn, Akira Schmid are 6'4 and 6'5 and Blackwood is 6'4 ) |

No way do the Kings pass on a 6'4" power player with skill in Dach IMO |

Nor should the Hawks.
If he is determined by the scouts to be to be the best power forward, I’m on board with that. I think Cozens and Dach are a coin flip.
I just think they need stones up front more then a 946th D prospect. |

😄 All you have to do is make to management at the NHL and no matter how bad you are you will find a job the rest of your life.[/img] |

Not that anyone cares, but I'll go on the record:
My preference: Byram
Can live with: Turcotte or Dach
Heartburn over: Cozens or Zegras
I feel like there is much more risk in the latter two reaching their advertised potential. - gmurban
I think Byram has the biggest bust potential, by far...defensemen usually do. The forwards will almost certainly, at the very least be useful NHL players. |

Especially when the tallest player in NHL History just played in the Stanely Cup Finals at age 42.......If ANYONE is an injury risk its Turcotte. |
