LOL! I'm good with them going with one of the big centers and I liked the idea of Dach over Cozens. Will be interesting to see how the rest of the first pans out as well as the other rounds.

Does this make our PK better? I wonder how well he'll be able to carry the puck in the NHL? We'll see but if they felt he's got the most upside and considering his size, he might be a beast to play against eventually

We will have to see how both of these payers work out. The Dach pick tells us that the Hawks feel comfortable with Joki, Beaudin, Boquist, and Mitchell.

Here's where it gets interesting. Dach HAS disappeared at times, but his ceiling is enormous if he can reach it. Think Keith Primeau.

I would just like to temper expectations now.

He should be a good player. There really wasn't a bad pick IMO. This kid will be pretty solid physically. Excited to see what he does in camp.
