I'm not against drafting a goalie high.

You either get DiPietro or MAF and the chance at having a MAF-type goalie on this team really toots my horn.

Probably the most under-appreciated goalie in my lifetime. He is wildly inconsistent, yes, but when he is hot, he's a shutout machine and you can't say he hasn't played in or delivered in big games.

I can see Sabres buying out Risto. Seems like a move our genius GM would make. Hopefully Vancouver delivered some brown paper bags to the Sabres table at the draft.

I feel like the NHL tells teams to wait to announce things. Like the Oreilly draft day deal seemed to be done before hand.

Sounds like both Hamilton & Faulk in play for Carolina; perhaps more on Faulk side. He has 1-year left, can’t sign extension until July 1 but hearing talks haven’t gone well.

It makes some sense if the preds take zaitsev.

The preds want to shed salary so they can get a centre. Kadri+Zaitsev for Subban? The dollars a pretty close
