I would take a flyer on Perry but he really was a shell of what he once was. So as long as it was not very pricey you could roll the dice. Sabres should be able to address some needs in free agency and trades as they have some cap room and lots of trade capital. Happy for O'Reilly as he won a cup but I hated the trade then and that just made it worse. Good centers are just to hard to come by

I’d give them a mid-round pick or B/C prospect to see if a change of scenery helps
But if he can’t do it with all that talent around him on the Caps,
idk that I’d expect all that much from him here

Maybe try him in the top6 and see if he can gel
I don’t think he can be effective in a defensive type role

I think he meant that we would either be trading for someone's first that will win, or we will be picking first.

It's hard to tell with him.

Maybe he believes those moves will bring in the wins.

The Skinner trade was in early August and came out of nowhere. I was optimistic of a deal getting done but I am starting to think we are quiet. I hope I am wrong.
