Sounded like Dubas was all over the place...He is eager to make moves and has to be creative.

From what I read

Dubas upped the ante to trade Marleau last night with Arizona.

He was talking to Polie about Subban pretty intensively.

He talked to Ottawa and Dorian said it was just a conversation on a trade that could happen in the future.

He talked to the Blues about Fabbri.

He talked to Kapanen's, Johhnson's agents at the draft trying to get a deal done.


It just sounds like he's working pretty damn hard to get something done.

Some people act like they think he is like Vince McMahon and he literally owns the league, rather than works at the behest of a group of billionaire owners. He doesn't unilaterally do things.

I think the way he accepts the boos and plays with it is great. He's aware of the heel role some fans have him in and he works it.

I do wish fans wouldn't boo when he comes out with the Cup. It sullies the moment. What are people even booing? Winnipeg and Quebec lost teams? Economic reality. Lockouts? There were owners and players in that tango also. He rigged the lottery? No, that was sasquatch working together with the grey aliens. It's stupid, but it's part of the theater at this point.

He brought interest to hockey in the southern states....which is pretty important for growing the game of hockey.
