I'm not arguing with you in any way but I think Subban is a guy everybody would like if he played for the Rangers.
Good trade for the Devils, but he looked even slower than normal in the playoffs last year so hopefully we maintain enough speed on the roster to blow by him like 2014! |

Devils keep trading for bonafide stars but no one ever wants to extend and play for them long term. Hell, even Parise who’s one of the most loyal character guys in the league bounced the first chance he could. Kovalchuk retired in his prime after he realized what a dump that team and Newark are.
Good trade for today but they’re so far from competing that it just doesn’t make sense. Hall will leave and so will Subban when given the chance. |
