Miller is good, I’m more worried about the trades 1st and what’s next if Panarin goes elsewhere. - Nucker101
Were we really serious about Panarin? I think NH was the only one who really believed it would happen

It could also be 1st overall. See Senators, Ottawa. They missed the cup final by one game, went all in trading for players and then poop the bed. The Canucks have yet to make the playoffs, have gone all in... - 1970vintage
Moving a conditional first is not going 'all in' lol.
If we miss the playoffs in 2021, this rebuilt has gone horribly wrong anyways. |

You know he did and yes I am grasping. I want to like this deal but I cannot. If he can get a Barrie without giving up the farm that would go a long way. I have no interest in Myers or Gardiner. - thundachunk
Nyet all dayski to Myers.
Gardiner is a very good D for breakouts & more but needs a good partner. |

Judd Brackett on how the #Canucks approached the draft: "In the first round we wanted BPA. Obviously we took a lot of forwards, but we think we addressed defense in college and CHL signings and will continue to do so." |

This is what pisses almost everyone off. I liked the trade when they first announced it. When I found out it included a 1st round pick I went ape-sh*t. - Marwood
That 1st could end up a cyanide pill for JB lol |

They drafted a Russian to send a message to him and Tryamkin. Jim wants to shed the bad rep with Russians to get Panarin to sign here. The Milller deal also shows Panarin that they want to win now.
Add Panarin, Hughes, Miller and a top 4 dman and this team is filling the arena and making the playoffs. That’s music to FA’s ears. |

Ppl see one side of the coin only.
JB made it so & earned the flack for it.
His fate rides on this trade. - Nighthawk
He has balls I'll give him that. The Pod Draft I bet I am the only idiot who liked it. |

First, i take Miller over Hayes any day of the week, and second, his cap hit is a bargain. He’ll have a career year this season. I don’t like giving up a first but I like what we got. As for drafting no Defenceman, he must know from talking to agents if players are wanting to sign here. Tampering or not, we know it happens all the time. - Shuswap Wap
JT for $1.9m cheaper is much much better.
JB must be in on getting a serious D piece. |

JB’s picks & trades puts TG squarely on the hot seat. |

I will agree with the wap. I do believe that Miller will have a career year. Anyone would playing with Petey an Brock. His style of play will compliment them. I will give Benning that but I don't like the 1st. |

Congrats on getting two quality picks in Keppen and The Highlander Bummed we didn't get Keppen; impressive EV strength production (both goals and primary assists) and a balanced package across the rest of the facets. |

I think it was an easy decision. He was top 3 until he signed in the K. This used to be a city Russian's loved. MVGA for Russians. |

I believe in only JB has to make a play for him. What happens i am 40/60 on. No matter what JB has to do more with the roster & tbh idk what that will entail now. |

This trade has to pan out & JB is in a hole that the team has to dig him out of. He’s put a lot of faith in the team he has built. Takes balls to do what he did.
Will it work out or will he be a EUNUCH? - Nighthawk
It takes either big balls or small brains. |
