Felt a little disappointed when they announced him — but like Carol I felt the same with Petey and Horvat, and those turned out well. Didn’t feel as disappointed with Virt, so who knows? Lol

And ya, Zegras would have been great, but I’m sure Anaheim has him ranked pretty high as well so didn’t want to easily give up that spot. If JB thought he was going to be head and shoulders above KPod, then giving the second up makes sense. If not, it’s not worth giving up two prospects for one.

I have to admit , I got a little pleasure watching Dubas trying to cut a deal with anyone who would listen and falling short. I also like no selection for the Leafs in round one and having cap issues.

Out of the 7 players listed in the top 31 only Bobby Brink and Nils Hoglander I thought should have been first rounders and they were going to be very late 1st rounders.
