That will be prior to his expected meeting this week down in Florida with the Panthers, along with Bobrovsky as well.

Was there any mention of him also meeting with other teams in person elsewhere, as per those Isles and Avs rumors, or possibly with the Kings for another team rumored?

I agree, but to sign Panarin alone without Kreider being re-signed, Shatty and possibly Smith as well will have to be bought out, pending how much Trouba alone will cost. That in addition to what their other RFA's will cost in Buch, Deangelo, and Lemieux, after earlier not opting to qualify Claesson for some reason, despite the low cost to do so.

Meanwhile, you're missing out directly locally on another Mets mess, in the latest being Callaway demanding a Newsday reporter to be thrown out of yesterday's post game interview session, due to not liking his questions, and using a slur in telling him so. Then that was followed up by pitcher, Jason Vargas threatening to knock out that reporter, to which Syndergaard and another player had to prevent him from doing so. The Mets apologized to the reporter and Newsday and fined Callaway and Vargas.

Trying to think of a team that could legit use Shatty (meaning not as a buried contract) and where he’d waive to go play, is gonna be difficult. That’s even with retaining probably 50%. I think maybe possibly Arizona, but it’s really difficult to see anyone trading for him, I think we’re stuck. You never know tho, with better players and a better team, he could improve also and then build some trade stock for a deadline deal during 20-21 season, or maybe even this next season coming up. I don’t see the rush to trade him either, they could even just have him as the 7th D. No way will he be more then a last pair guy next season, maybe at the start of the year he will then the kids playing more later in the year. Not saying they would do that, but I don’t see him as this huge issue moving forward the next two years.

I saw. They have the NY Post up here as well so got to see the headline. Maybe he should have pulled Lugo after throwing 40 pitches and gone with Diaz

Very much so after throwing 42 pitches in under 2 innings, in an usual outing for him in being one of their only good relievers, with their closer in Diaz still available to record 5 outs, despite his sub par performance in the past few weeks at least.
That's what spurred the incident with the reporter asking him if he would use Diaz to record 5 outs for a save attempt, following other earlier season pitching use gaffes by Callaway.
