Trying to think of a team that could legit use Shatty (meaning not as a buried contract) and where he’d waive to go play, is gonna be difficult. That’s even with retaining probably 50%. I think maybe possibly Arizona, but it’s really difficult to see anyone trading for him, I think we’re stuck. You never know tho, with better players and a better team, he could improve also and then build some trade stock for a deadline deal during 20-21 season, or maybe even this next season coming up. I don’t see the rush to trade him either, they could even just have him as the 7th D. No way will he be more then a last pair guy next season, maybe at the start of the year he will then the kids playing more later in the year. Not saying they would do that, but I don’t see him as this huge issue moving forward the next two years.

Yup. Pionk was thrown to the wolves and even though his defensive play dropped off, it seems as though WPG figured it was due to NYR horrible team defense, sonhis stock wasn't that affected
