Well Drury is our asst GM, Brad Richards was just hired. Tanner Glass and Jed Ortmeyer are scouts.
Rangers are hiring a lot of former players. - TPC
Ortmeyer and Glass was a bit of a journeyman though. Drury sucked with Hartford, I have no idea why he is still in the org. Richards had 2 deep playoff runs with the team, but I'm not sure he quite meets the criteria. I'll keep an open mind with him.
I'm more worried about getting legends. All of the people who simply wanted to make Messier the coach or Graves the team president. Please, no.

You realize that no one eats that poop food except Americans, right? - Tonybere
One of our biggest strengths and weaknesses is that us Americans can just throw expectations out the door and just go with a passable option. We know that local place that you spend 100 bucks at is outstanding, but sometimes you just gotta do the 2 for 20.

I wonder if he's gonna stick with 88, if he is I am always going to think it's Lindros
- jimbro83
The what if of "what if Lindros and Bure weren't held together with duct tape when we got them" 01-02 is still probably the most disappointing year of m Rangers fandom by a decent stretch.

that was such a bad year in general, 9/11 happened right as training camp was starting and hockey aside, it took a very long time not to be the first thing on our minds in those days
whenever I see the years 2001-2002 listed I instantly am reminded of that feeling

I DO NOT COMPARE TO LIND RUFF! LINDY RUFF IS ONE OF THE GREATS! HE HAS BEEN DOING A GREAT JOB WITH THE DEFENSE! SOME MIGHT SAY THE BEST JOB! - tomburton99
At least when the defense shoots the puck into our own net with you as the coach, it's because you told them to do it so we get Lafreinere.
Haha, you got me there. Although, I rarely eat anything from there. Just for convenience if we head out early on a road trip. And unlike most of the sheep, I think their coffee blows. I always make my own. Cuban coffee is where it's at, man.

I got lucky. True story, my mom had jury duty on 9/11. I took her into jury duty and waited in the courtroom (I don't know if it was because it was pre homeland security or the fact it was choosing jury for a murder trial, everyone including guests were in the grand courtroom sitting). Anyway, I never saw any of that live. When I turned the car off, the first plane had just hit the tower and I thought it was just some moron flying his plane into it, had no idea it was a legit jet.
We got dismissed shortly after the plane hit the pentagon. I just consider myself fortunate I wasn't as traumatized as everyone watching that as it unfolded and that I managed to somehow not know any of the victims. I can't even fathom how much suffering people and their family went through and it boils my blood everytime I see people mocking people who post remember 9/11 stuff

That's rough man. Glad to see he seems to be doing as well as he possible could do given the circumstance. I have no idea how I could of managed that if that was me.
