Defensive injuries and goaltending killed that club last season. Klefbom (when healthy) and Nurse also provide plenty of support for McJesus...Chiasson as well. There's more than just RNH and Drai supporting. Holland and Tippett will fix it but it may take 2 seasons.

I get where you are coming from and yes it is an overpayment...but it's where we are right now. Stuck between moving into the top 20 or staying in the bottom 10 for the next five years. My guess is the club wants out of the bottom 10. Probably gonna be a UFA dman coming too so prepare yourself lol
