I could be in the minority but I think Loui Eriksson's deployment has been horrid that I still think he has game left used in the right spots.
Put him with EP and Boeser and see what happens - did TG do that at all? I dont think he did.
Imagine:
Eriksson/EP/Boeser
Miller/Bo/Nyquist
Pearson/Gaudette/Virtanen
Leivo/Beagle/Motte
LTR: Rousell, Baertschi
Edler/Myers
Hutton/Stecher
Hughes/Tanev
Traded: Goldobin, Granlund, Sutter
Bought out: Spooner
Thats a playoff team guys.......no question.....then in the pipe you have Macewen, Juolevi, Woo, Pods, Hoglander.
When was the last time this team had this much potential for continuity and success??? - chompsey
It’s never happened, that team would definitely challenge for the cup this year! |

Once per year, so at least 7 more times, plus maybe 3 more in a SCF - 1970vintage
I feel compelled to remind Rosterhawk daily to remove him from his lineups. It’s nexessary |

Eriksson’s misuse was that he was used at all. He should be flayed and his crumpled skin husk dumped at the feet of the Roger Nielson statue for all to admire. His broken and bloody body propped up under the 7th man sign as a reminder to all future free agents not to suck so hard. |

I grew up in the D&D era, and thoroughly enjoyed GoT. I may not be blessed with your capabilities for language, but my torture game is on point. |

Me too. Brutal ending to that series. Martin really needed to step in. |

It was his vision re: the ending. He had mapped it out for them. The execution is what lacked imagination and was completely rushed/ruined.... |

Ya, he gave them the ending, just not the how and why of it. They butchered that.
Though I’m sure he’ll do it better and pay everything off, I still hate the idea of the-person-who-ended-up-on-the-throne as the actual king. Makes no sense... but the books are much different plot-wise, so hopefully they actually get finished. |

I hated Bran as king too - made no sense to me but that was Martin's pick. I assume he'd flesh that out better too. He was so inconsequential in the show....made no sense... |

That's a cup winning D right there
Also, I'm pretty sure Markstrom got more Vezina votes than both Flames goalies combined. |

Why would Carolina trade a young stud D man who just had s great year for a 30 year old goalie with one good season and a probable bust ?

I think Colorado is the obvious choice for who won that draft but i think LA is a low key close second. Turcotte, Bjornfot and kaliyev is a pretty serious haul. |
