I would sign gaudette asap. Give him 3 years at say 1.75 per try and get 4 at 2. Be pretty tough for a kid to say no to 8 mill. Of he busts oh well of he hits good for us

Eriksson was paid to score. The best way to do that is to put him on the top line. He hasn't fit Greens bill from the beginning. Why? Who knows? If he isn't traded he should get a look yes but I doubt Green wants anything to do with that. I think all sides are at a stalemate.

He hasn't been a good fit for this team but he could still be productive on another team using him properly.

We have different perceptions on LE. I watched him playing in the Worlds (obviously not Green coaching) and he was playing with good players (including EP). I thought he looked every bit as offensively inept there as he did for the ‘Nucks. I hope a change of scenery is all he needs (therefore some trade value), but i think it might be more than that.

The only solace is that we will likely have some compliance buyouts sooner rather than later. I would rather Myers now and wait a year for Barrie(if it is true he wants to come home) than trade for Barrie now. Keep Tanev for the year to be our cap saving for Barrie.
