Even throw in a 3rd or 4th round pick to make it happen.
Gusev - Pettersson - Boeser (skill and offense)
Ferland - Horvat - Miller (power and offense)
Pearson - Gaudette - Virtanen (size and secondary offence)
Leivo - Beagle - Roussel (checking line that can cycle the puck and forecheck)
Motte
Edler - Miller
Hughes - Tanev
Benn - Stecher
Markstrom
Demko
A playoff team with youth, healthy cap, blend of speed/size/skill top to bottom and a Happy Jim

Love it. Being in a cap position to strategically target Miller & Gusev vs joining UFA bidding wars for Myers & Panarin is such a better way to go at this stage. |

Not only does Bo need a winger Gaudette needs more talent also. - Nighthawk
Acquiring another top 6 forward will push down another forward to play with Gaudette.
Plus future push from Pod, Hoglander, Madden, Lind, Gadjovich, ZMac, etc.
Or add 2 forwards like Gusev and Ferland and suddenly the forward group looks very deep and talented. Entire top 6 would have 20 goal talents and the bottom 6 would be filled with 10+ goal potential forwards. A recipe for contender status. |

Agreed. Prospects from within further deepen the pipeline & a sustained feeder system. |

Lastly the 7/3 for the e-draft has to be a factor. |

Yes. Cap is more valuable. Any UFA signing has to be a winner or a big waste. |

UFA’s can create the biggest problems far easier than trades or moving picks. |

It’s rare a UFA signs a friendly contract. A team has to be a contender or close for that to be a possibility. |

There’s just so much positivity these days! I’m having a tough time keeping it straight who are the tankers, who are the draftists, who are the Pom-pommers and who are the miserable pieces of poop.
A great draft and trade will do that for a fan base. |

Mike Sillinger played on 75% of the teams in the league. I’m sure everyone who played with him would say he’s a good dude. |

The tankists have quieted with these events looking for a PO push.
The pom pommers its too early to ramp it up.
The crusty fecks are building up there arsenal to be unloaded at a future date.
The tweeners are in lalaland during the silly season |

Nucker what is your line-up cap total? - Nighthawk
it's pretty tight this year unless Sven can be dumped off somewhere.
Would open up more next year with Spooner gone, and potentially Tanev gone, plus cap going up a bit.
The LE contract as usual is killing the dream |
