What us wrong with u, Mark Stone is literally one of the best 2 way players in the NHL.. he routinely leads the league in takeaways... to not mention this while talking about how normal the skinner & hays contract is laughable.. i would do that Stone contract no problem.. the guy is an elite defender & can score some points... lol comparing him to Skinner & Hayes... just wow.. the analytics dont add up.. look at the William Karlsson contract.. that is fair, buffalo & philly probably just screwed themselves for 5 years minimum with these disastrous deals... What I meant by the Eichel and Vesey stuff was, friends or not, that didn't help us to sign him.

The San Jose Sharks may have to clear some cap space to re-sign restricted free agent Timo Meier.
The Sharks have $14.8 million in cap space, but they just seven forwards and six defensemen under contract. Meier had an impressive 30 goals and 66 points in 78 games with San Jose last season. The Sharks have some tough decisions to make this summer, but bringing back the 22-year-old isn't one of them. He'll be a huge part of the team's future.
