That's our biggest issue right now imo, we have no depth to trade from what so ever. Not all on TM as JB hasn't been perfect, but he came into a situation where we had very little promising young players, no depth in the AHL, and no abundance of picks to use.
I want this team to change as much as anyone, but I just don't see how its going to happen. Is JB gonna be able to trade for a top six guy for cj smith and a third? Who knows. But im not holding my breath waiting for another Skinner type deal to come along.
We all may just have to wait for our prospects to come up and make a difference on the team or as a trade chip, which would REALLY suck.
