That's another good one but I think fans would've revolted if we lost Briere, Drury and Vanek in one off season. Should've kept Briere and let the offer sheet roll on Vanek

That he was a sore in the locker room. That's the narrative WGR tried pushing because someone higher up wanted it to seem that way. It was all over the place that apparently ROR was bad for the locker room but if the captain and future of the team was there to root him on, doesn't sound like a guy who was hated. That was my point.

You're all over the place. It's looking like a brutal trade but has time to change course. I could care less why the trade happened. It happened. Move on.

One of the greatest sporting success stories took place 23 years ago. Hockey player turned Golfer, Happy Gilmore, overcame adversity to win his first golfing championship. Putting what was considered the impossible shot, Mr Gilmore used the obstacles that were in his way to sink his putt, and, thus, record one of the greatest sporting comebacks in history.

AZ loves being the official retirement home of the NHL. Makes sense actually.

So I think what you're saying is, like Happy's ball location, the Sabres need to "play it where it lies" in regard to the current assets and opportunities available to make the team better, without dwelling on the unfortunate Volkswagen crash (trade) and subsequent yahoos (Twitter, HB) occupying the unstable structure?

At times they have lightly speculated if there were issues in the locker room. They didn't say they knew. Clearly there were issues - we all speculate on that.

I'm not going to go searching for quotes but I know the instigators and Paul Hamilton both talked about how they heard ROR was a negative presence in the locker room

Look people, bring in 1-2 of the following Granlund, Ehlers, RNH, Tyler Johnson, Zucker

And Donolski in FA and I'll be happy

Next years lottery protected 1st should be on the table and any prospect besides this years crop and Oloffson should be on the table as well. If we're trading Risto for any of the above, get Miller from Vegas to make up for it.

If these moves are made then I'll be happy and feel like our GM is holding himself accountable for his actions.

Soderberg had 23 goals and 49 pts last year and is only 33 and on his last year of the deal... Hardly a retirement contract.

In other news, Garth believes that because McCabe skates with Pavelski in the summer, that it will be enough to bring him in.

there's something to put in your pipe.

They are at Nashville on a Saturday night and at Vegas on a Friday night.

This might make for some good road trips this year.
