Honestly.. of all of the players that have even been traded the only guys who would even move the needle in terms of top 6 contributions or top pairing guys were Miller and Trouba. Arguments to be paid on the pros/cons of guys like Maata, PK, Hayes.

Everyone of us balked at a 1st for Miller.
Everyone of us knows that Trouba said NYR or he wouldn't extend. So assets for nothing.

You sound like a millenial.

While I would prefer to move beyond the ROR issue, I think we need to get this issue very clear. In Botterill's interview after the trade, he admitted that the club began discussing the move of ROR to STL at the deadline and the pieces of the agreement didn't come together until after the season was over.

He DID NOT orchestrate his way out of the team, the team decided to move on from him. I'm not sure why, and - in June 2019 - I don't really care anymore why they decided to move on. But I do care about deflating myths.

THE ATHLETIC: Pierre LeBrun reports San Jose Sharks captain Joe Pavelski has UFA interviews set up with a couple of teams this week. Dialogue remains open between Sharks GM Doug Wilson and Pavelski’s agent. It’s believed the 34-year-old forward could visit the Dallas Stars and Tampa Bay Lightning this week. The Buffalo Sabres are also said to be interested but don’t have a visit scheduled with him.
