I remember in the following summer I went back and watched some of the game tape of his time at the WJC with Aho and Laine and I posted something along the lines of "Man, it's clear who was being carried by who in that tournament. I understand the reservations that Jarmo must've had about him" and was met with a less than enthused response. A lot of people weren't keen on hearing it and, while I was also still in denial myself, I had the feeling he was doomed from then on.

Aho carried that (frank)ing line up and down the ice and nobody wanted to admit it.

I'd prefer Wallmark for Pulju

Unfortunately he hasn't even turned out as a good complimentary piece on a top 6 line at this point.

So it was.

Now hurry up and sign that prepubescent (frank) to big money.

Waddell says it's coming and that they aren't as far apart as he had thought they might be, but it'll still probably drag into late july.

And Laine was a boon. Puljujarvi could literally be seen tripping over himself, barely maintaining possession and just finding himself in the right place at the right time.

Make the 1st top-3 protected (cond. if we win the lottery then you get 2021 no prot.) and make the 2nd a 3rd and I'd go for it.
- MaximumBone

Those are reasonable adjustments. I think the Kings would go for that.

Should have known something wasn’t right when his fellow Finn didn’t draft him with the 3rd overall pick

If they don’t make some significant
Changes (at least 1 massive addition or 2 solid ones) there is almost no way that roster makes the playoffs barring Connor and koskinen going all world

Pretty sad that D core looks good compared to the forward group

Sure, but this is a business of winning. It can't be argued that he was one of our top Dmen upon stepping in. It was Petry, him and then a whole lot of nothing until Klefbom stepped in.
- MaximumBone

Petry would look real nice on this team. Too bad MacT bungled that situation up for us.

10mil is cap space to make those changes without any cap shedding. Guys like Panik, Donskoi and maybe Perry can do some good.

Holland has said himself after the draft he wants:

1. An experienced goalie
2. A Top 6 forward
3. Good/cheap forward depth

You would have to think if he wants to accomplish all of that he needs to shed a contract

I’m not sure what to make if it but there is a chance De Haan might not be ready to start the season

My eye is on Saarela, of whom I think is gonna be one hell of a gem for Chicago. I think Carolina trading him away is gonna bite them in the ass later on.

An interesting thing to note about that Carolina trade is that Aleksi's brother, Antti, was just recently drafted by Chicago.

Shouldn’t jujhar be on that bottom 6 list? I’m good with him there
