Talking about what moves you’d like to see makes more sense than ranting about Botts hypothetically not making a move

Then take it up with Pachla, who wrote a blog on that topic

BS.

The excuses for Botts need to stop.

This team needs to be good, if they suck next year he can go too.

Name three realistic moves to make the team better as of right now.

Yeah I still don’t get it.

He’s made multiple trades, fired and hired coaches.

He’s been active since he’s been here

I want change on the team as much as anyone, but we have nothing to move. McCabe is not getting a top six forward, nylander and a pick won’t get you a top four dman, literally the only player that has value that we can sort of afford to move is Ristolainen.
Eichel and dahlin aren’t being moved, I doubt rhino or mitts are either, Montour was just brought in.
If a team offered the equivalent of nylander McCabe and a even a first for a guy like Reinhart does anyone hear take that deal? I doubt it.
It sucks but we just really don’t have any desirable pieces to attract teams.
The one way I see to acquire some decent talent is to target cap strapped teams, but I would think those deals don’t happen until later in the offseason.

Ryan Hartman was not tendered a qualifying offer from Dallas.
Dallas still intends to negotiate with him on a contract, but he can become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. Hartman was acquired from Philadelphia on Monday in exchange for Tyler Pitlick.

Like I’ve been saying for 3-4 years now, the only way this team truly contends is if a few of their draft picks turn into real contributors.

Cozens, Olofsson, Asplund, Mitts, Bryson etc.

I’m all for acquiring guys to “speed things up”
But they’ve gotta be mid20s at the oldest

Seems like ppl just want us to sign Duchene & trade for PK
Well...that would’ve turned out horribly

I’m all for trades too.

But if he makes that JT Miller trade everyone calls him an idiot.

If he makes that PK trade we’re all the sudden pretty strapped for cap.

I don’t think this team is as bad as people think either.

I think we’re average and depending on how Mitts/Ullmark/Thompson/Olofsson and others rebound we could be above

Counting on rookies and sophomores to make the team leap from 27th to 15th isn't going to play out well. Botterill needs to give this team help. Somehow, some way, he has to give them real help. It's his job

Seems like 50 years is long enough, if these players on farm were an good they would be playing on the big club. you sign Duchene if at all possible. All this crap of " we can't sign him or we can't trade for him "is ridiculous. It's time to move this along

A rookie is why (one of the main reasons) the Blues went from 30th to a cup from January.

All it takes is one or two guys to pan out.

And you and I both know he’s going to make moves.

Sure, but we don’t wanna GMTM this thing all over again... do we?

There are certain guys we should stay away from bc of age, contract, or they just aren’t that good

Let’s just be smart about it
