I know he has become a bit of a punch line around here but I still have high hopes for Thompson. It isn't his fault that he has been badly mismanaged by two different organizations. I remember watching the prospect game at this time last year and he (along with Pilut) absolutely dominated the game. The kid has freakish athletic ability - there was no reason he should have been in the NHL so soon.
