I think Olofson will produce. I don't think Skinner will get 40 again so I hope others pick up his drop off and I think they will get a major piece or two. I'm just not sure who/what they will give up to get them. - GilPerreault11
Homie mentioned Hoffman. I could go with hoff or Huberdeau. Pending they sign bob and Panarin.
Between the information we get here and nhl media guys tweeting about the Sabres. Botts is making calls.
Something will happen soon |

I'm not banking on Huberdeau, Hoffman? Maybe, he would this be year's Skinner and then we hope we re-sign him for a lot. We'll see. |

Bottom 6 needs a change. - SABRES 89
Next year we should have a whole new good third line.
Davidson/cozens/Asplund
Ride out this last year, improve a bit with 1-2 more small moves and hope Casey will be a #2 C next year. I’ll like our top 3 lines and if we keep Risto I think our defense will look good in future |

nelson and scandella are perfect if we want to watch players freeze on the ice for when eichel or skinner receive a cheap shot and are laying on the ice
they need a little grit on the back end and in the middle 6 if they want to be a playoff team in 2020
if it's another lottery season, no sense in getting grit - homiedclown
Pass on Phaneuf
It would be like signing Gorges again because he's tough and scowls. |

Risto for ehlers
Risto ,1st for Boeser
Risto for Travis Konecny
That type - gerbe75pts
Risto for Ehlers is bad. We need RWs not left.
Skinner
Olofsson
Sheary
Davidson
Nylander
And just Sam and Okposo on RW 🤢🤢 |

The Sabres defense was more of an issue than the offense.
When you have D like Scandella bogo Risto and sort of McCabe that can’t make a break out pass. Our offense can’t transition and get the puck out. At times it felt like we were hemmed in our own end for minutes at a time.
On top of that our defense let in how many back door wide open goals to the other team?
Based on free agent players .... he seems to be targeting bottom 6 guys. No huge names. He knows he needs to make changes - Sabretooth9
I feel differently, based on them finishing:
-45-50 Goals For short compared to the average of the 6th, 7th and 8th seeds in the East.
- 40 Goals Against more than those three teams in the East.
Both ends where a disaster and both require focus.
The D can contribute with generating Goals For, the same as the Forwards can contribute to less Goals Against.

But tm didn’t draft him - gerbe75pts
So with this logic, then Janakowski is who you want to hang for not drafting all CHL guys...
Even though the league as a whole is reducing to number of CHL draft picks over the past 4 -5 years...and has resulted in a drop of 30% since about 6-12 years ago.
Botts is off the hook if VO isn't Murray's

He won 52 faceoffs in two years of consistent injury. Don't think we need swedish tiny Tim |

It could work in thee Sabres favor. Maybe it makes more sense to pay a 3C to play 2C this year and wait for Mitts/Cozens to take the job than to pay doochayne $bajilliondee dollars |

He should have taken Zegras if he wanted a center but like most GMS they see size and fall in love
But caufield will be a scoring machine now will have to deal with him for the next decade |

If the panthers sign bob and Panarin ..... they will need to shed a good sized contract.
Hoffman (as homie mentioned) or Huberdeau could be moved.
Bread and bob will be Atleast 18-20 mill together. |
