That is the way most selections are made. Botts isn't pulling the trigger on individual selection in probably 90% of the selections. His job is to set the strategy, identify the protocol scouts use to arrive at their final evaluation, have the process to arrive at their final rankings...then the picksxare usually made by the head of scouting...Janakowski. he is your target for the hate.

Cozens before the start of the year by Craig Button was ranked the 2nd best prospect behind Hughes.

Cozens for most of the draft was going between 3-6. As much as I wanted Zegras. The most I looked up cozens .... the more I liked.

Mitt is already our smaller center.

Cozen and Eichel long term are 6’2 Ish tall skilled very fast skating centers.

I am okay with botts wanting more size down the middle. ( I like mitts too)
