Gusev was putting up similar KHL numbers to Kovy(even when Kovy first joined the KHL in his early 30’s and was still a damn good player).

Gusev was on the same team as Dadonov and had a higher PPG despite being just 23 years old and Dadonov being 26


Dadonov has scored 28 goals in each of the last 2 seasons for Florida

So if Gusev is as good or better than Dadonov then you see why people are interested lol

Especially since Boeser’s 30 goals are worshipped in Vancouver

He plays poorly when asked to be the defence first guy. He will have sheltered zone starts in Van and be asked to contribute offensively. We need a righty. Id rather gardiner, but it’s not terrible at 5x6
