Let’s sign that guy. He’s not super mobile, but he’s more impactful than LE. |

Can't agree . He is made of glass and has slowed down. He is not even producing anymore in the games he played. He has 12 points in two years. - VANTEL
He’s a good shutdown guy. He’s a downgrade on Tanev but should be cheap. For sure we need more offence from the back, but you still need guys that can take care of their own end. |

Who would take him?
It is not really much of a savings to buy him out. If he doesn't produce it is almost worth it to send him to the Comets and let him help those guys. I never liked his contract or him from when he signed.
It doesn't sound like Canucks are counting him in the top 6 . Is he a third line player? - VANTEL
Florida? They have a ton of cap room - only 8 forwards and 5 d signed as of now. The oldest guy in the lineup is 30 - they'd be ideal trade partners for Sven or Sutter - plus they have an extra 3rd next year. |

Unload them if you can, add Loui to the mix and you can start making things happen. |

Fla will be losing 18 of their 27 mil tomorrow when they sign Bob and Panarin. That will bring them up to 16 contracts
Sven played 26 games last year so why anyone would want t 3.3 cap hit for that is very questionable. |

Hopefully short term. He will bring toughness like Schenn did. Don't overpay him . Edler is gone in two years and hopefully OJ can learn how to play D. - VANTEL
Personally I could care less if Juolevi is great defensively, the Canucks are one of the worst teams for producing offensively from the defense, so just let him do his thing. Pair him with someone who can cover. |

QH & OJ will need some support for sure.
I've heard that Brenden Dillon may be available, man that would be sweet |

Fla hired Coach Q will be signing Panarin and Bob to try to take a run at the cup. I bet they used the selling line of we will bring in Vancouvers hot trash as your linemates.

Hurry up Jett Woo
I would like to see the Canucks go after Garnett Hathaway. Tough Mofo that can put up points and cost less than a mil. |

Friedman said that hutton was the other piece going back in the zaitsev discussions with vancouver. Good possibility hutton is a leaf tomorrow - Codes1087
I called Hutton to the Leafs on a show me deal to replace Gardiner last week... |

Because they will still have $$, don't have many if any prospects ready to play and they need players to fill out the lineup - I was thinking more so Sutter for Florida but Sven could be a fit in Ottawa. |

Seen a bunch of buyouts coming out today. Is that where JB should be looking for help for the 3rd pairing.
Darren Dreger
Ceci will likely get around $5 mil in arbitration. If he plays well the Leafs can extend in January. Likely a 5 year ext...again around $5 mil per. Trade has to happen before any of this and there could be other elements involved.
Carlo Colaiacovo
5 mill for a guy who has never scored more than 30 pts??
Man the game has changed
I would say Cody Ceci is about as good as Tyler Myers. The price for a good 3rd pairing D man is around 5 million dollars a year. That's pretty messed IMO. |

Yes they do. The only difference is they managed to flip some of our trash for extra draft picks. Not all of it, but some. |

This is one of your more wildly inaccurate posts. Ceci is hot garbage, Hutton is a much better comparison. Myers can/would play 20-22 minutes on any team in the league. |
